Hello!

Does anyone know where I can get a Benchmade 259 or does anyone want to sell them theirs? I want a good quality balisong, but not as expensive as the BM42s. So I think the BM 259 is the perfect balisong for me. If anyone has any idea where I can get one. Please email me and let me know. I would really apprciate it. Thanks.

You might get Sniperboy to track one down for you. But, it'll probably be around $80-$100. And I believe the handle on it are made of Zamak, which has been known to crack under use. If I were you I'd spend the extra $20 or so and get a 42, which won't break on you for a loooooooooooooooong time.

I'll ditto that.

You know, the Zamak Handled Balisongs were never intended to last forever, or even as long as the steel handled models. They were a hook, an Entry Level Knife to get you interested, than on to the high end Production then to Customs.

Their longevity has always been an issue.

. When it breaks, you are forced to look for another material for handle .. as the blade is still great anyway!

Instead of getting an International Series Zamak handled Bali-Song you might as well get a Bear or a Jag and save $50. They are all pretty much the same thing. Save your money and get a BM 42 for around $100, you'll be glad you did.
