I am a huge benchmade fan and this is so far my favorite model. It has a 3.8 inch d2 blade D2 isn't my favorite steel but I like it in this knife. It isn't very rust resistant but it holds an edge very well. The blade thickness is impressive it is thicker than the blade on my benchmade 140. The blade shape is also very nice. The handle is made out of g10 with stainless liners the handle is very ergonomic I like it. The clip carries the knife
Pretty deep. The lock is benchmades axis lock benchmade said it can hold about 800 pounds that is very impressive.

Pros
Blade shape
Handle
Quality and strength
Price
Clip
Durability

Cons
For some d2 blade steel
For some maybe the 7.7 ounce weight

Overall this is an amazing knife for just about anyone

D2 is more corrosion-resistent than you think, especially with that coating BM uses. Even when it starts wearing off, it's still there in the microporous nooks and crannies.

I've got the 275, and while too heavy for me for everyday carry, I take it camping in a heartbeat.

If you get a chance, post some pics of that baby in use, and welcome to BFC. :)
