I got a new benchmade proper; out of the box the knife looks new, and the blade is perfectly centered. However, I noticed the action of the blade is very un-smooth and as you pull or push back the blade to open/close, its very grindy. Upon closer inspection of the back end of the tang of the blade, there appears to be some sort of wear or galling which may explain the grindy feeling of the blade. Is this a defect or is this normal?
