I was wondering what you guys and girls think about the Benchmade 350. Is it worth buying, or is it a POS? I would use it for work, carry it when im not at school, and for camping. Any other suggestions under $200 would be helpful. Thanks.

I have a 350, had it since they were introduced. It's small, lightweight, and the lock is very good on mine. It makes a very nice everyday utility knife, and I carry mine at work clipped to my scrubs, where it is hardly noticeable. It is a nice little knife. However, for camping/etc., I prefer my Victorinox Forester (locking blade, saw, etc.) and a custom fixed blade by Allen Folts (or my SRK). For a more hefty knife, I prefer my Benchmade 730 Ares, plain edge w/ axis lock - very nice at the $100 range.

The 350 is a nice little cutter, a good choice in the $50.00 range if you like a liner lock and want decent steel.

Knives in the $200.00 range is a whole other can of worms...

The 350 is a nice little knife, although, I would have preferred an aluminum handle like the auto version. I suppose Benchmade chose Zytel to keep it economical.

I really enjoy my 350. It's really a thin knife that is easy to carry. Great buy too.

The 350 used to be my EDC - great little knife -- Jazzman's right and so's the price.

I own 2.
Outstanding shirt pocket carry piece due to the flat profile/light weight.
Great steak knife.
Poor tomato slicer.
Far to lightweight for general camping use, but still an excellent second knife for a campground if you also have a larger blade.
