I just checked the benchmade website, the BM 43 is on the site for 170.00. However not picture is available. Anybody have a picture of the finished product that is for sale? Opinoins on the new bali?

The BM 47 tanto is also available.

I'm just waiting the extra time for the Models to filter down to Dealers. I like to flip them and see no reason to spend that much money on one just because it is serialed or to be able to boast I have one.

If I take that price and add about $45.00 to it, I can get the Drop Point Tanto and the Bowie with it! Hahhhaha

I totally agree. I spent a month on the internet looking a for a good price from a reliable dealer for my 42S before I bought it. There are a lot out there that sell them for much less than benchmade. Has anybody else seen the new BM balis on any site for sale yet?

I have a model 47 Tanto on the way for $138. Not a bad price , don't you think ? A local dealer sold me a 42 and ordered the 47 for me for $260 for both . He also ordered the 43 (2) and the 42 with the black handles. He said he is on the quick-ship list , and that his rep told him the new ones would be here the week of the 4th.

Ya lucky bastids!!

I like to flip, and i like to collect, so paying retail for one with a number that would be used is aok with me. Ni number, then I wait. I just went down to BM in OR City, and boy, is that 43 pretty! BM has some very, very nice things coming out, some bali, some not. I got a feel for the coated bali, and though i still like the ti feel better, it is well done and adds a good degree of grip without being to much, or worse, just cosmetic. I actually thought the tanto was less then offensive, wich is a big step for tanto's for me.

Hope they hit soon.

I have a 43A and a 47A coming for 130.00 a piece from an unspecified dealer who is only getting one of each. CAN'T WAIT!!! And BM Support Staff on their forum said they should be out in just a week or two. YAY!

OK...what are the model numbers for the latchless version and the bowie bladed model? Thanks in advance.

Have heard rumors that the LL's might not make it out of the pipe due to legal issues and production concerns. Nothing confirmed, but I thought i'd pass it on. To bad, as the LL's were looking pretty cool.

well, it's gonna be a torx screw for sure, so just remove your latch (making sure to hang on to the pieces, of course).
peace.

I learned that web dealers will only get them after 6 months to give way to local stores who sells at a higher price. Is this true? I only buy from the net, so i guess i have to wait it out.

6 months cant wait that long. Can hardly stand to wait a couple of weeks. I give in, next paycheck an order goes in for the bowie.

If anyone is interested , I can give you the phone number of the local dealer that I puchased my 42 and 47 from . He told me today when I was picking up my 42 , that he would have a 4extra 47 . Just e-mail me and I'll give you the number .

What would be legal issues with latchless designs?
