GP Knives lists June 15, 2011 as its estimated arrival date. Regarding blade strength, it's obviously intended as a gentleman's/light-duty knife, and if used within those parameters the thin blade shouldn't be an issue. (Basically, don't do anything with it that you wouldn't do with a Kershaw Leek and you should be fine.)
An assistd knife, seems a bit aggresive, for a a "gentle" man. Also a hefty price tag, to be a knife, you'd have to question, every time you pull it out. Beautiful knife though.
