Benchmade 49-01 Update!!!

I called Benchmade Monday to check on the status of my 49-01. I was told half of the 49-01s will ship out October 31st:). They said the last half will not ship out until the very end of November:(. Also I was told there was no way to find out which batch would hold my knife:(.
 
I recieved an email from my dealer yesterday saying that he was told they were going to start shipping in about two weeks. I would assume that means that dealers will be recieving their orders out of the first batch?!? OOOOHHH, i hope so!:D After seeing Dawkinds pictures i dont think i'll be able to get my mind off of it. And the best part is it should be arriving right around when the Tachyon is (supposedly) going to be arriving!

I talked to Benchmade yesterday, 10/30. They said that they might be done sometime next month:(. I can't take the waiting. I'm sure it will be well worth the wait though:D.

Good thing you never ordered a BM Custom. It usually took 2 to 3 months. Sometimes it can take months longer, depending on Jody's grind mood.
 
I can handle waiting, but when someone says its going to be done I expect it to be done. When I first ordered I was told I would have it in two days.(there was some kind of mix up in the wharehouse) Next I was told October 31st. Then I was told that half would go out October 31st and the second batch would go out end of November. Now I'm told probably November.

Again I'm sure it will be well worth the wait.;)
