benchmade 5000 auto-presidio

I am looking for a good quality automatic folder and I am considering the Benchmade 5000. Does any one have any comments about this knife?

Welcome to the forums 82Paratrooper! I've had both the 5000 and the 520. The 5000 is really a nice auto considering that it can be opened with either the left or right thumb. If you like the axis lock, then this is the auto for you. The only reason that I don't have the 5000 anymore is because I was given a trade offer that I couldn't refuse. Great knife. I believe that it was BM's first axis-auto. OT: Which unit are you in? I was in the 2/504 from '86-'90.
