Benchmade 515 Rant Question

I'm interested in buying a Benchmade Rant... One problem though. I'm not sure if I should buy last years model in D2 steel, which comes with a leather sheath, or this years model in 440C, which comes with a cordura\nylon sheath? I personally like D2 better, but I like the Cordura sheath also... What would you do?

I have the D2 rant and I like it just fine as one of my hunting knives, the leather sheath is well built and rides high on my belt witch I like but the snap can be hard to close sometimes.

Why not buy whichever steel you like, and ask Benchmade if you can swap or buy the sheath you like.

Sheaths are easy to replace, so get the steel that you prefer.
