Jst bought my second benchmade yesterday decided on a 530. Goes allright nice and light, its really thin barely noticible on my pocket and its hair popping sharp. Any1 else had a go at this knife?

I've had a 530 for several months. It is probably the most carried knife I own. It is large enough to be useful but thin and light enough to disappear in a pocket. I have 3 Benchmades and it is by far my favorite of them. I didn't care for the black pocket clip on mine so I swapped it with the silver clip off of my Benchmade Gaucho.

I had one, ended up selling it, but only out of personal preference, had no complaints about the quality and it was a REAL easy carry, you could hardly tell it was in your pocket.

I just made a trade with Firediver for a 530. Can't wait to get it. I really like the 3.25" blade over the 2.95" blade of the 350/3550.

The BM530 is a great knife.

Amazingly slim and light yet very strong.
Plenty of blade.
Axis lock.
Excellent build quality.

Only thing is, I just don't understand why it's not more popular.

I had one briefly, but found that the thumbstud was a bit difficult to "thumb" and the Axis Lock studs a little smooth.

I like the 556 Mini Grip better and it cost less.

I just got a 707. Its outstanding... I will have to take a look at the 530...

I had one, traded it here, missed it, and picked up another one. :D

Its a great cutter with that thin blade, and just insanely light and easy to carry. I've got what I thought were the lightest Axis locks - a carbon fiber 940 (nah, nah :p ) and a 770, but the 530 will clip in a shirt pocket and just float - I love it.
