Want to change out the pivot on my limited edition orange bailout, from the standard one to a blue one. Fo the life of me the pivot screw won’t budge. I tries a soldering gun and CRC Breakleen, nothing will loosen it. Is there a trick I’m not aware of ? Thanks so much!

Sometimes the axis lock applies a bit of pressure to the pivot. I've noticed this in the past when changing scales. Pull the axis lock back just a bit.
Good luck.

The orange Bailout I had was thread locked. I use wing-handled Wiha torx drivers on thread-locked screws. That should not help with red Loctite, but it works with the other colors.

In the past, I’ve had to open my griptilian and then pull back the axis lock to remove the pressure from the blade so the pivot unscrews. I’ve found that when the knife is closed and the axis lock is engaged, sometimes the blade and pivot get in a bind.
Worse case, you’ll have to buy an additional 537…
