I just received 2 copies of the Benchmade 585 Osborne Axis Assist knives with G-10 grips. One with a satin plain edge and one with a black combo edge. They both open with snap and lock up great. The G-10 handles are fairly comfortable, but my hands are a tad too large to fit the carved scales perfectly. This was a limited run of 250 knives with the G-10.
The other Benchmade I picked up is the 950 Osborne RIFT with carbon fiber handle. Being a larger knive than the 585's, the handle fits my mitt much better. Again, a great knive. The action is smooth and lockup is excellent.
All three knives came shaving sharp (I have a bald strip on my arm to prove it).
Just wanted to share the view with you all.
