Benchmade 635

Hello all,

I got my first Benchmade the other day, 635 Mini Skirmish. I love this knife. I've been around knives awhile now and I do not understand why I never checked out the Benchmade line until now. I'm already thinking about my next purchase another 635, and a sweet gold class 907 91. I have some pretty nice knives but for the price and quality theese things are hard to beat. Wish I would have discovered them earlier, totally bummed to learn the 635 had been discontinued. Just wanted to share my love for the Mini.
 
You need to check out a Benchmade with the AXIS lock. It is a great lock that everyone needs to experience.

My favorite knife (not just Benchmade) is a 950 Rift. Great knife. I have 4 (don't tell my GF :eek:)

Yeah those caught my eye also, beautiful G10 on them.
 
Jesus! You got more Benchmade knives than Benchmade themselves!!! How much money hav you spend on BM knives?
 
Benchmade is awesome. My first "real"/quality knife was a Benchmade 940SBK and over time it has proven to be my overall favorite knife -- functional, versatile, durable, and portable. I also have a Benchmite, a mini-Griptilian, the Rift (FP), and the large Skirmish (FP). They really seem to understand what they're doing at that company. Their website is also very well designed. Navigating most major knife company sites is like looking through a phonebook; Benchmade among other things has a "Knife Wizard" where you can search for knives by blade length, thickness, material, style, overall weight, length, locking mechanism, etc.. Makes me wonder why big-name knife companies advertise their products along the lines of: "Hi. Would you like to see our 378 knives alphabetically, or numerically?"
(Don't mean to sound like the Benchmade cheerleader but I have an affinity for their stuff for both objective and highly personal reasons.)
 
I am completely on board with Benchmade. I got my sights on the gold class mini nitrous striker(sp?) now. It is a beautiful knife, anybody have any input on theese, or better yet pics.

bm are great knies. Sadly I had to sell off both my 635s because I didnt use them anymore and needed the cash :(. But they are in good homes I think :)
