Well, I just recieved my new benchmade apparition from eBay. It's FANTASTIC! Great feel, Sharp as hell blade, and quick assist. The feel is really great and the finish is superb. If you're looking for a good spring assist spend a little more than a kershaw and get a Benchmade.

Blade Length: 3.25"
Blade Thickness: 0.125"
Blade Material: D2 Tool Steel
Blade Hardness: 58-60HRC
Blade Style: Wharncliff Hollow-Ground; Thumb-Stud
Weight: 4.24oz.
Clip: Black, Removable Split-Arrow, Tip-Down
Lock Mechanism: Modified Locking-Liner w/ Optimiser Spring-Assist
Overall Length: 7.65"
Closed Length: 4.40"

P.S. You get pick one up from ebay for 105 shipped.

i'm telling you man, ebay...just read feedback and make sure that you're insured, and you're good to go...in the feedback section i put down the people that I bought it from...they have 100 % feedback...it was brand new...if you have 105, do it

I'm not talking about the used ones....I'm talking about brand new. The action before the AO takes over feels like someone has thrown a handful of dirt into the knife. It stinks....I have yet to find a good one, I REALLY want to like the Apparition.

What are you talking about used ones. Mine was BRAND NEW. Have you ever used eBay? The whole deal with eBay is that you get NEW products at the lower price than anyone else. I understand what you mean about the action before the AO takes over, that makes sense, and it doesn't bother me. But that eBay thing doesn't.

For your info, www.knifeworks.com has the same model here selling for less than what it goes for in ebay but with the backing of a true brick and mortar store behind the company. Roger the owner is also well known in as a reputable good to go dealers.

I like my 672. It's got a nice solid feel, the hollow-ground D2 blade's really great and the G-10's good stuff. I've owned three and this one is the first I haven't disabled. The first two opened with a lot of effort and were traded off, not the current one.

IMO to move up a notch in the A/O world if it's a Benchmade, the Nitrous models are a big improvement both in design and function - much easier to open over the 670/672 series.

I think he did mention he was talking about new ones and not used ones though. Although some miscommunication may have arisen.

I love EBay and fully agree with the feedback as main point in choosing a dealer. I'm not in the US and lots of times sellers try to do me once over (claimed the sent but they actually didn't and claimed it's lost in mail) but the strong sellers have their reps on the line. I got great deals from Ebay that I would not get from online stores :)
