Benchmade 672 vs Spyderco Mini Manix

I am trying to decide what to do with a little extra money burning a whole in my pocket. I am torn between these two knives. The prices are in the same ballpark. I don’t have any experience with the D2 steel. The Manix does have the advantage of tip up tip down. The Apparition does have the advantage of Spring Assist opening. What are your thoughts?

The flat grind CPM S30V steel blade is thick and ample for most jobs. The lockback system is very strong and, arguably, more secure than most linerlocks. Handle grip feels perfect for a moderate size grip.
The black metal pocket clip can be set to all 4 positions.

I have no love for AO's anymore, not that they're bad, they just lost their appeal for me. I would go with the mini Manix.

Easy choice. The BM is a liner lock. Can't even compare to a Spyderco lock back.

I like benchmades aswell but I'm definately going with the Mini Manix in this case.
