Hey everyone!

I am looking for a smarter way to carry my Benchmade 7 Hook. My employer does not allow "weapons," so sticking the included nylon sheath on my belt might get too much attention, and the hook with the nylon sheath floating around loose in my pocket is uncomfortable. I tried running a belt clip through the molle on the nylon sheath so I could clip it to the inside of my pocket, but that didn't work out very well.

Does anyone know where I can get a better sheath, preferably one that is very streamlined and will allow the hook yo be clipped to the inside of my pocket? Or I was even thinking a wallet type sheath to put it in my back pocket. I tried carrying it in my back pocket in the regular nylon sheath, but it was too uncomfortable.

I thought about making my own sheath, but I am not very crafty with leather and kydex.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

How about keeping it in it's sheath in the inside pocket of your jacket while you're at work and then sticking it in your belt again when you get off? If you need to use it at work, maybe talk to your boss about it. If not, you probably shouldn't sneak around with it, someone will see you using it sooner or later.

Well, first of all, I certainly wouldn't think of that utility cutter as a weapon. Secondly a custom made leather sheath or even Kydex would certainly exceed the cost of the knife, (utility cutter, box opener, whatever). Also the bulk of leather or Kydex would probably yield similar results regarding comfort of carry. I agree with Dr. Heelhook, show it to your boss and if it is useful in your daily routine at work, surely he would okay it.
