Benchmade 705 or Rainbow Leek, which would you want for Christmas?

I bought a buddy a Rainbow Leek and bought a BM 705 for my boss as Xmas gifts.

I work in a small sales organization that sells high end hifi stuff. My boss and I work closely together and while we're sales guys these days we both used to work in the trades and appreciate good tools. He's got a Leatherman Wave that lives in his briefcase, but always seems to be opening boxes with a key. He's not big on flashy stuff (happy to wear a swatch watch) but is into technology. He's not a knife guy, but has a good set of kitchen cutlery. The 705 seemed about right as it's short enough to not be intimidating, but a well made tool with a sort of high tech Axis lock. I think the 705 is a better knife than the Leek by far, but am concerned that he might not want to carry it as it's a bit industrial looking with the thick G10 scales as we usually dress in business attire (from khakis to suits).

I showed him the Leek today and he seemed to think it looked pretty cool. Do you think it's more or less intimidating looking to the sheeple because of it's rainbow finish?

Now I'm feeling like I should have bought both of them Rainbow Leeks (and saved a few bucks).

Which would you want?

705 is more solid, better lock.
Leek is cool, sheeple friendly (colour), and thinner.

What will be the (real) use?
Office: Leek
All around: 705

Just my opinion...
