Any input on a preference between the Benchmade 705 and the William Henry Spearpoint Carbon Fiber as a general purpose pocket knife? Thanks.

For a general purpose knife, I'd go with the BM 705. It is and has been my favorite knife for everyday carry. Strong, sharp and just the right size.

William Henry knives are excellent knives. This is not meant as any type of criticism (I have several and love them), but for general purpose the 705 is better. If you are looking for a gent's knife, WH can't be beat.

I agree. While my WH knives see more pocket time than my BM 705, that has more to do with the nature of my job (office/suit). For general utility, I would definitely go with the BM 705.

I agree with the others. The WH line of knives are full blown gent's folders. They will do double duty as EDC's, but the 705 is much better suited for that roll. Unless, of course, you work in an office environment and do the suit and tie shuffle for 8 hours a day and 5 days a week.:D
