Question. Is 100 of these all we are likely to see? The consensus was this was too much to pay for a folder. It's not a small sebenza. But, it seems to me that there is a market out there. Any word from Benchmade?

That was what the quickie thought was on the BM forum too. It was stated that this was quite a bit of a different design by some of the people that had a say in it. What those differences exactly are, they cannot/will not say yet.

At least one of those people is pretty well respected, at least by me. So I will wait and see when it comes out, and hold off on any comparisons until then.

The more I look at it, the more I like it, but ther is no pocket clip & their asking price is down right silly! I am beginning to question if Benchmade should even bother producing their high do$$ar knives (706, 180DM other really high dollar ones). If you wanted something that cost that much....you would just go with a custom then right?

Go figure.....makes me wonder about the 100 people who have them. Probably bought them up thinking they could make a buck on them....maybe yes.....probably not.

After what I paid for my Sebenza, and looking at everything they put into that knife, I think $450 isn't unreasonable as long as the finish is perfect.
