Hello,
Im thinking about getting a 707, but i want to know how it's size compares to some other knives. So could I please have some pictures of the 707 next to someother knives like the Mini Griptilian?
Thanks for any help, Matty

Thanks, Keyman. Do you think the 707 has longer handles? Or has more room for grip?

I think the actual grip lengths are pretty much equal.
But, the mini feels larger because of its belly.
I like the belly of the grip, but I also like the slenderness and pocket ability of the 707.
They are both awesome knives in their own right.
I'm glad I have both!

My friend saw that pic over my shoulder and he just recently learned what micarta is so he asked me if those scales (especially the green ritter) was old-weathered-tarp micarta lol.

Keyman makes nothing but GREAT handles for the 707 :D

but seriously the 707 although thin and light still feels nice in hand and in pocket. I prefer it to the mini grip mostly due to the handle but that could change when I put some custom scales on it.

Sorry, i misspoke, I meant a good grip, like it will fit in my hand and it wont be too small. :o

I have a different opinion than the others about the 707's handle. It has a good blade profile and length for EDC while the thinness makes it very comfortable and discrete to carry, but for me it is too thin to be comfortable when actually using it. For me, something with a little more girth would make it easier to hold than the thin OEM scales. I own two, but neither gets carried as much as my 586 Mini-Barrage or 556 Mini-Griptilian - at least for me their handles are just more comfortable. I would recommend you handle (pun intended :)) a 707 before purchasing it.

I prefer the 707 Sequel to the 556 Mini Grip. The Mini grip scales feel a little cheap and are thin at the edges. The heal of the handle also curves downward to a point which gets lost in my palm. I like the more squared edges on the Sequel, for a small knife this feels more secure in my hands. 707 is also thinner across the middle and disappears when you carry it.

The blades are the same thickness but the 707 shape and grind is more appealing to me. The Ritter grip blade would maybe be more comparable.
