Benchmade 707 Sequel........

Does anyone have both the Benchmade 707 Sequel and the 705? If so, can someone post a side by side comparison photo?

I already have the 705 and am wondering how much different the 707 is as far as width, blade size etc. Also, how are the G-10 scales attached to the knife on the 707?

I ordered one back in February. Still haven't seen it. I'd like to know if there is a reliable source for knowing the actual release dates for these knives. I'm getting tired of ordering knives and then waiting for months.

You need to find a more reliable dealer then I think. There are a few dealers that have these in stock, and have for at least a little while now.

GPknives & edcknives both currently show them in stock.

I got one about two months ago from a dealer in Florida. The basic handle shape remains the same, except the scales are made from aluminum with G10 inserts. The thickness of the scales seems to be thinner than the normal G10 of the 705, and the liners are also thinner, giving the knife a much thinner profile. The blade is 154CM (would have liked either a D2 or M2 option) and the shape of the blade seems to have a bit more belly to it than the 705. Two thumbs up from my perspective on the 707S.
