Benchmade 710- Black coated plain edge blade?

I was browsing and came across new black coated plain edge 710s for sale. I checked BM's website and they only have the serrated version in black. Are the black plain edge specials? Are they still in production? If so, how come I cannot located it on BM website? I can only locate the non coated plain edge and black serrated 710. There is no sign of a black plain edge 710.

They are rare, and are no longer made. I saw one on Ebay. I don't like the coating enough to pay the premium the seller wanted.

They are not rare. Any dealer can order them in batches of 20+ IIRC. New Graham has them in stock all the time. Don't believe what people write in ebay descriptions.


Just checked and the pharmacy does have 6 in stock for $115.
