Where's a good place to get a 710 and what is a reasonable price to pay? Thanks for the help.

I'll second the praise of Skyland. I just ordered a 710BT, (They're on there way to him now) and he was really a nice guy. Price was really good and Greg is pretty funny too. (I can't wait till it gets here!!)

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I placed an order with Cliff at Ultimate because of one reason...he had the product! <G> Acutally, he was very nice to deal with, as was Greg at Skyland. I ordered a 710SBT for $103.00.

Has anyone dealt with knifecenter.com? They have a huge website with lots of cool knife specs, and prices. I've never ordered anything on-line, and I want to pick up a Kershaw left handed mini-task and a Benchmade mini-axis.
I realize that their prices are not the lowest, but they have told me their customer service is excellent. I am curious if it's worth paying the extra money? Has anyone had an experience with knifecenter.com?

I've ordered quite a few items from Howard at the Knifecenter, both secure on-line and over the phone and have always recieved great service. They ship within 1 or 2 days and I get my package 3 business days later.
I've returned 3 knives to them because of some problem with the knife. In one case I returned a knife in exchange for the exact same knife and when I recieved it there was something wrong with that one as well and I returned it, this time asking for a refund which was promptly credited to my account the same day they recieved the package.
I've been very happy with them.

I've bought at least 2 knives from Knifecenter, and had no problems whatsoever, with the service or the knives.

I'd be willing to pay a couple of dollars more to a place like Knifecenter, simply because I value the wealth of information they provide on their web site. And similarly to James Mattis ( www.chaicutlery.com ). Can you think of anyone who has done more for the responsible promotion of knives than he has? These are the kinds of dealers who deserve our money.

Mark at www.mjsknives.com just listed axis models available for about $20 less. I have had excellent service there as well.
