Was on Knifeworks site, they have discontinued the Benchmade M390 710. They are going to a M-4 version with grey cerakote. Know there are many 710 fans out there just thought I would give a heads up. I don't post very often and I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has taught me so much since I began following this forum. Lot's of knowledge to be had.

The M4 is great stuff. The cerakote will scratch and gouge under heavy use. The cerakote finish may be a little rough but it evens out very well with a little hand buffing with Flitz or buffing compound. IMO the cerakote is not needed on M4, just a little care will keep the M4 corrosion free.

Wonder what the handle material will be? There was talk on the Benchmade forum that they might do Silver Twill G10, but nothing had been finalized besides the M4. Will definitely be getting one though regardless.

Boy am I glad I got my order in before they discontinued it. I probably have one of the last m390s sitting under the tree waiting for me. Where did you guys fond the information about the new m4 710? It would definatelu be worth a look with a new handle material
