Benchmade 710 Spacer Question...

Got my new 710. Nice knife, but I have a question about the bottom spacer (the black plastic that sits between the steel liners).

Does yours sit flush with both liners? On my knife, it's flush with one side, but a little off on the other. Creates a little shadow effect on the bottom of the knife. Nothing major, but at $100, you sort of expect everything to fit perfectly.

Guyon, mine sits perfectly even on both sides. It's about a scrillionth of an inch in the hole. You can just catch your fingernail on the liner. Later, Alex

Mine is pretty even also, but just a hair off like oneslowbird. If you are looking for something perfect in the fit and finish department for only $100, forget it. Especially with a Benchmade.
My 710HSSR is just an outstanding, practical working knife...as good as they come for this.
