I really like the Benchmade 710. (just ordered one) Was playing with the mini Rukus today. I love the feel of that knife in your hand. Initially the thing I didnt like about it was that it was alittle bulky in your pocket. After playing with it today I had a hard time putting it down. For you guys that have carried both of these..Wich one do you like better for an EDC? Any opinions or comments would be great. Thanks. If I could slim down the handles on the Mini Rukus I would love it...Well more then I already do:)

Both fantastic knives, but the 710 does carry better than the 615, despite the .6 blade length difference. I find the 615 in my pocket more though, the 710 seems to scare the sheeple a bit easier.

Kindred spirit......thanks for your reply....Yes I agree the 710 does carry better...slimmer,more comfortable in your pocket. Although when I am holding the 615 I feel like I could cut through concrete...just feels so good to me. You said you found it in your pocket more....was this just because of the looks?...or did you find that you enjoy using the knife more? Do you notice the bulkyness of the 615 after you have carried it for awhile? Thanks

The 615 is definitely more solid and I like it better overall than the 710. The 710 carries better.

The ergos of the 615 are much more superior to the 710, which made me use it more. I also find S30V touches up easier than D2.

710 is definitely less bulky and an awesome blade. The 615-- much more comfortable but not as flat obviously. Can't go wrong with either in my opinion. Should have both anyway :)

I own both and seem to like carrying the the 615 a lot more just because of the ergos and the overall solid design of the knife. Not to take anything away from the 710 which is another well made knife, but the slightly longer blade tends to scare people.

It might also be that i tend to not want to carry the 710 just because its the M2 version. :D
