I just bought a PE Benchmade 710 w/ 154CM. Is this knife a collectible or should I just EDC it and use it. I've never owned a knife that is a collector. What is a 710 w/ 154CM worth right now?

The store where I bought it has a SE Benchmade 710 w/ 154CM. Is the SE version sought after as much as the PE?

Man, I really like this knife. It's screaming to ride in my pocket tomorrow.
 
Whats up ReadyFreddy23! I say use it! The 154cm 710's are not rare enough to be worth much more than a d2 710. They are on ebay all the time. I had one, and edc'd it, it was a great blade.
 
I don't think it's very collectable. Carry it, use it, be happy.
 
if its the normal black g10 model then it really isnt collectable.

If it is a limited edition with aluminum handles and inserts then it is collectable.

The serated edge is not nearly as collectable or valuable as the plain edge...... meaning that if you go to sell it the PE will get more money.

I say use it
 
i have a 710 prototype LNIB w/the black ano aluminum handles, anyone seen one of those sell lately??

IIRC they made ~200 of them.

i prefer the aluminum to the G10 FWIW.

imho it would be collectible.
