Benchmade 745 blade play

I have a 745 I've owned for about six months.

While working with this knife morning I noticed while I don't have any side to side play, I do have a little play from spine to edge if I grip the blade with a cloth I can make it move. Not much, but I can see the titanium lock flex a small amount if I really rock it back and forth.

I've adjusted the pivot and that doesn't do much good, I like it a little loose.

Any suggestions, or is this something you guys have seen in your 745's? In other words not to worry?

Up and down play in a liner lock like you mentioned would certainly bother me. That means the locking liner isn't making correct contact with the tang across the entire length of the engagement. Depending on how you use your knife, it could be an issue, and will probably get worse over time.

I have high standards, though.
