Greetings from just down the street from Benchmade. I often get BM stuff as soon as it hits the market and I just got my first 745 mini Dejavoo wednesday 3/28/07. It's a first production # 164 of 1000. sports an s30v blade with a contoured G10 handle. Bob Lum is the new exclusive BM designer... they must have scored him from Spyderco. The knife is GREAT and I can find little wrong with it... even the price at $140 retail is real competitive for the quality. The thing I kind of dig is that being an Oregon native I love the fact that the knife is by Benchmade AND they finally have an Oregon designer as well. Just a personal state pride thing:) I also really like the stainless deep carry clip... I have always hated their cookie cutter, black coated, always chipping clips that were on every knife. A clip is part of the knife design and should be practical to it and look like it belongs there. I really love this knife for the money. Get yours today!

That looks really nice.

I for one, really appreciate low-riding clips.. and Benchmade (or Mr. Lum) seems to have done a great job with this one.

I kept telling myself I was not going to get one of these because frankly I would prefer to use axis locks. The more I see it the more I think as soon as New Graham gets them in stock I'm going to pick one up. Does anyone have pictures of this with a BM Griptilian for a size comparison? Kind of wondering about the overall dimension difference.

The Dejavoo definitely has eye appeal.

It may not be as pretty as the folder Bob Lum designed for Spyderco, but I think the handle design of the Dejavoo is more functional, if only that there is at least a modest finger choil to help keep "ouchies" from happening.

How solid is the lockup on this knife? It looks like the grinds match pretty well. This is probably my next knife. :)

Very cool. I'm looking forward to getitng one those myself, they seem to just be hitting the net retailers.
