I haven't bought a new folder in over a year now. Usually I don't have a problem deciding but I'm really stumped on this one. Which do you recommend for all around use and daily carry?

I bought the Mini Onslaught because I love my Bob Lum designed BM Dejavoo, but I always thought an Axis lock would make it a perfect knife ( and IMO the 746 is perfect, seems much stronger than any liner lock).

As far as the 746 vs the Emerson ... I have a few Emerson knives and the Mini Com was the only one I sold, I just couldn't warm up to the blade shape. But it was a well built knife, the fit and finish was better than some of the other EKI knives I own.

The blade on the 746 is more practical for me and I don't care about the wave feature on the Emerson knives ( it's not a deal breaker for me).

If you want something closer to the 746 by Emerson I'd recommend the Horseman. IMO the Horseman is on of the best knives EKI makes and is finished even better than my mini com was.

I just ordered a 940. Been eye ballin' that one for years. The MComm is still in my sights though. Just tried to order one and they're out so I'll try again on Mon.
