Ok, Im in the middle of making my new 'short list' of knives to get and was wondering about this 750bt Pinnacle. It appears to be a framelock from the looks of it? Anyone own/use one? Any info would be great, thanks.

Pinnacle is a framelock from Benchmade but has discontinue the knife. My brother has one and has only good things to say abt the knife - try do a search and you should be able to get more info on the knife but don't be surprise if there is anyone here will urge u to get a sebbie.

I have a Benchmade Pinnacle. This was Benchmade's entry into the frame lock scene which they referred to as the "Mono-lock." For some reason, the knife never gained much popularity. As far as it's construction goes it is typical Benchmade quality, but not as smooth as a Sebenza. I really like the recurved edge and find that it cuts very well, but alas, it is no longer in production. I have never had any complaints about it and if I ever come across another, I would not hesitate in getting one. Again, it is not a Sebenza, but it's a good working folder that will serve you well.

I have 2 of them that are new. I had an older one I used as my edc and I have no complaints about them. I used to have sebenza's and I like the pinnacles better. They seem to fit better in my hand and you can adjust the pivot which you can't do on the sebenza unless you change the pivot washers to a diffenent thickness. Also the pocket clip is better located with 3 screws unlike the 1 screw that holds the sebenza clip on. Another thing I like better is the handle slabs are thinner than the sebenza's which I like better. Now before anyone comes down on me for talking down the sebenza, I am not. Just a personal preference. The sebenza is definitely a super quality product with flawless execution. I have had 3 of them. By the way, if you check the exchange section, I have my pinnacles for sale. Thanks

I've just recently "rediscovered" this discontinued Benchmade, and really like it. I've been seeing them around gun shows in the DFW area, and in fact have acquired two in the past 90 days. I think they're a good deal for the money. geegee
