benchmade 755 mpr green poo scales such a turn off... time i did something about it

fun little project i just finished during lunch today at the office... rit dye really stinks, more so than someone heating up fish in the microwave at the office lol. just thought i would share the results , enjoy!

i think it turned out pretty good, used half a bag of the powder dye in hot water and let it sit for about an hour. took the scales out and dunked them in ice water and then rinsed them with cold water till the bleeding stopped.

I concur, I have never been a big fan of the original scales. Those black ones look great though

thanks everyone, i used powdered rit dye and there are several tutorials on this forum as well as youtube.

That looks like a totally different knife...like one I could buy. I guess time will tell how durable the dye is.

its been a couple months now and the scales are still black
