Benchmade 761/765 or Chris Reeve Inkosi

+1 on the Chris Reeve I've owned many, and they have never let me down. The tolerances on his blades are second to none. Never a bad investment.

I have trade' lot of good review on the BM mono lock and it seems to be a good alternative to a CRK for the price
However, having different BM (not the trilock) I would go for the CRK even if I prefer the sebenza over the inkosi
CRK have better fit and finish than BM and (for exemple) even if I like my mini grip it is just not in the same league as the small sebenza or small inkosi

CRK all the way. I love Benchmade, but CRK is just better in this category. If you want a Benchmade, get a 940-1 or a Ritter Griptillian. If you want an ideal TI framelock, get a Sebenza (or Inkosi).

I'll be the one and only stand out.
I went with the 761 and absolutely love it!! Had it anodized and love it even more now!
Amazing blade steel and profile......this thing is just about the best slicer I have! Fantastic action! Flies open and locks up stupid TIGHT!!I really like it!

Thread is from 12/2016

I don’t mind a little necromancy for the sake of discussion, so I’ll throw in.

I had the opportunity to handle these side by side when the BM was new. I like BM, and even have to admit that I *wanted* to love it out of local brand loyalty. In hand, it simply didn’t strike me as special. It felt like just another ti framelock, and that’s coming from an unashamed and unapologetic lover of ti framelocks.

The experience of handling those two lead me to going with the Lionsteel TiSpine, instead. The CRK felt like the most solidly built, but I was looking for something different at the time.

Given the same budget now, with a goal of getting a daily user, I’d get the Sebenza.

Benchmade Anthem if you are going to spend CRK kind of money on a Benchmade. But the true primo is a decorated Sebrnza :)

The 761 is a nice knife, Crk are timeless classics. My vote is for the Inkosi
