Benchmade 805 TSEK Pre-Production Numbered Blade New with no box or papers.

What is this knife worth?

What are your opinions about this knife?

Axis lock with 440C steel.

I need your help. I want to buy this knife and it's available at my local store.

Please, anyone with any knowledge about this knife I need your help. I want to buy this knife but I don't want to overpay.

Mint, it's worth about 150.00 tops, just like Mikjk said. It never was popular like the AFCK.

its worth whatever a std TSEK is worth, imho $100 or so$150 tops, the preproduction stuff doesnt add any value at all to it.

not a bad knife though imho, i always liked the AFCK better though.

I have both AFCK and the Axis TSEK, and like both, but prefer the TSEK. I own two 805's, one an earlier version and one a later version (handle slightly longer, lock slightly better engagement due to design). Both of mine are plain edge. I'd say about $100 to $140 worth. But the later version is still one of my fave knives. Oh, and IMO Benchmade's 440C is a great steel. I don't know about the 440C on their overseas knives, though; but on 805 and the older Griptilians at least, it's excellent.

The 805 TSEK is the best big Benchmade ever.

I prefer the drop point blade and thumbstuds to the AFCK's oval hole and clip point.

Thanks for the replies. This really helps. I'm going to try to buy it at a very low price. It's been sitting on his shelf for years and there's no box or papers. I googled the knife and I see a price of $82. Granted, they are out of stock and can't get anymore. I'm going to try to go low though.

Do the have several? Im looking for plain edge TSEK literally for years.
According to forum rules you cant sell things here but I could trade something for it.

I have an 831 Ascent and a Rant Bowie (USA and Taiwan, respectively) in 440C. Both are excellent steels and perform well, and I haven't seen any difference between the two.
