When I first got into knives, the BM 812 Mini-AFCK was probably the coolest thing I'd ever seen. Have they ever made with the AXIS lock, or was it just the liner kind?

Just came to think about that since the 806 was reintroduced with AXIS a while ago.

...oh and by the way, what's the difference between the 812 and the 814?

Mini's were only produced as liner locks. The difference between the two is that 812 has a round oppening hole and 814's hole is oval

Many thanks.

That's too bad though. If the 812/814 was ever produced with the AXIS lock, I'd get one in a second.
