I am having sort of an issue with my BM910 lockup, it is a solid lockup, no play, but it is sticky and is over the 50% mark as far as the liner on the blade goes. Can someone who has one post a pic of their lockup so I have something to compare mine too, dont know if im being anal or if there is something wrong. I know that ti can be sticky, and the ramp on the blade for the lock turns to a sharp angle, but i just dont know.... I just got the knife.......

thanks!

Here is a pic for comparison:

My experience is similar to SEH95B's, i.e. most of the 910 series knives I've handled and the one I own have had a lock that engages approximately midway accross the blade. I note that my 800 series knives are the same way and they are one of the very few liner-locks I will carry routinely (no longer a fan of liner-locks in general).

The only issue you need to really be aware of concerning the 910 is "fat finger" inadvertent lock disengagement. Some people, when they grip the 910, will disengage the lock due to their finger flesh pushing the lock-bar.

If its too sticky for you put the tip of a magic marker or pencil on the part of the tang that meets the liner.
