Dear friends. Did benchmade make at some point a 910 only with the bali-song and the benchmade USA print on one side and no printing on the other? Are this knives legit or some kind of refurbishing? Thanks for your knowledgeable input. Best regards.

If you post a picture it would be much easier for someone to confirm your knife is real.

Yes, of course! Not mine (still, i hope)

Here is the thread regarding the one I purchased and yours seems to be the exact same time period other than the missing Elishwitz logo on the back side. If the price is reasonable and not way too low I would jump on it. Mine was sent back to Benchmade and they covered it under warranty. My only other concern is these pictures don't appear to be off the same knife?

The one on top has the finish stripped of the bevel yet the logo is still there where the bottom one still has the finish? unless they are two different sets of pictures?

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Apparently you're right. But the poor quality pics don't help. Other than that, do you think the knife is legit?

The bottom knife looks legit but the top one is kind of hinky all the hardware and lines look right its just the weird. I'm no expert but I don't know how you could grind it like that and not remove the logo. Then again I haven't seen a copy that nicely done, I would personally buy it as long as its under $70 or so and hope for the best. I guess my main question would be if both sets of pictures are in the same sales post I would have a few questions for the seller as to why they don't match. It's entirely possible it is the same knife just pictures taken at two different times.

It's legit. My 910 doesn't have elishwitz on it either. Does have 154cm on the opposite side though. This one is a ATS-34 earlier model I'm sure. Had a 905 that looked exactly the same. I'm sure these are old enough to where over seas people wouldn't have cloned them.

Those are not clones. Early versions were made in Hitachi ATS-34 and unmarked on the right side. Nothing wrong with the blade steel, nice knives.

Same knife, one is killed with the flash and the other has the opposite effect. THink of it like a regular picture and then seeing the negative.
