Just got a Benchmade 915 Triage. Its a cool rescue knife and I love the orange color. Made a video review of it

Thanks for the review.

Black class is not exactly "one class down from Blue", if you meant quality wise. Black class just marketed toward tactical operators.
From BM:
Black Class products are designed, developed and tested for extreme duty. They are the preferred cutting tools for Law Enforcement, Public Safety and Elite Military Troops around the globe. Made in USA.

Nice clear video. Would have preferred a non-white background though, as the white was too blinding. Maybe grey? Nice detail comparing the pocket clips.

I have the Triage too and agree on most of your points. I just got it, and id prefer to carry it for a while and seeing how it fares, before i make a review. Would have preferred it wad a tad smaller though.

Thanks for the note. Actually, in the video I probably was referring to quality wise. I don't think I really thought of them or knew that it was the way you described it. Now that I look at the class descriptions on Benchmade's website I see that. Thanks for the education. :)

Thanks. I'll look into some other background options. It is a big knife, but carrying it in my more tactical styled pants it surprises me how I don't even notice I'm carrying it. In jeans it might be a different story though.

Just ordered one of these.. its a way to basically get a beefed up G10 Griptillian w/o for the price (or less) than just a pair of Wilkenson G10 grips for the Griptillian. Belt cutter is a bonus.

Hey, thanks for the well thought out review. I just got mine in the mail today. What a sweet blade.

Thanks. I've been carrying mine every day at work. I've only had to use the rescue hook once to cut someone's pants off (in the ER), but it worked great.

Great review -- thanks.

I want one but worry about carrying something that large in dress pants -- and also about that carbide tip that would be sticking out of the pocket.

Glad you like it. I love the knife and even thought about getting an all black one. Its definitely not a small knife though. It works well in my 5.11, Tru-Spec, Eotac, etc pants but I don't think I'd wear it with a pair of dress pants, or even a pair of jeans. Other than that first day catching the glass breaker on my kitchen chair I really haven't had any problems with it.

I have had some time to carry mine now. I really want to like it, but im finding it a tad too big and bulky. Review will be coming soon. Ive had no problem whatsoever with the carbide tip. It dosent snag or poke anything at all.

Yup. Agree with the others here. Nice clear review covering the important points. I got one a few days ago. I really do not get why BM even bothers with the faux jimping. Either do it or don't. Maybe someone should send them a Spyderco and show them how it's done.

If the Physician Gig doesn't work out .................you could have bright future at QVC :-) Seriously one of the most professionally done reviews I have seen in this or any other forum. Hope you will do more.

Thank you
