Benchmade 921s Osborne

I was able to acquire a Benchmade 921s Pre-Prodction knife. The knife is # 45 of 1000. I paid $150 for it new and in the original box. Benchmade's website shows the knife http://www.benchmade.com/detail.asp?model=921

I figured I got a good deal considering that my knife is a low numbered pre-production. But since I'm not really a collector was this knife a good investment?

i think thats a good price and a good investment, the msrp is 190 so the average online price should be around the 130plus range so you didnt' really pay that much more, where did you get this knife by the way. and do you know when it will be in production
 
As a Benchmade dealer, we are sent pre-production knives automatically. Could someone tell me if these are worth more? If they send us this one, I can let you know what it should retail at, if you want. That sounds about right though.
 
Ashes, if your are intrested in selling a pre-production from time to time I would be intrested if the dealer that I'm getting knives from does not get a particular knife or sells one before I get a chance to get it.... If you would not mind could you tell me when you get a pre-production knife so I will have an idea when to look for new knives or I can just buy directly from you.
