Benchmade 940-2 vs Spyderco Domino(red weave)?

Hate to take the coward way out, but I couldn't choose between the 2.
The Domino, Southard & Advocate are my favorite Spydies and the 94x are my favorite BMs.
If I had to choose between the 2 you posted, I'm going with the Domino. Much more interesting than black G10 & s30v.
If you were choosing between the 940-1501 & the Domino?? Much tougher choice.
Joe

PS......you know I have to add.....you will be thrilled with either one! Or both!

With those choices I would go with the red weave Domino.
Why, primarily because I find it more appealing. I've been on the verge of buying one several times, and talked myself out of it...whereas I've never had much interest in the 940 series.
That part acknowledged, I can go further - I like XHP a lot...I don't mind S30v; but when deciding on a which knife to purchase, xhp wins over s30v when all else is equal. Also, I don't care for look of the g10 handle on the 940-2...I'd prefer the aluminum (which is a different model, and not part of this question).

Didn't you just made this thread?

These are side-by side and were made ten minutes apart.

Quoting the OP in the other thread for posterity:
1. Spyderco Domino red weave carbon fiber
2. Spyderco Para 3
3. Benchmade 940-2
4. Benchmade mini griptilian in g10
I can only buy one and I'm having a hell of a time deciding, please help!!!!

I'm not sure what's going on here but I would choose neither. Have you taken a look at the GB2?

Holly crap man, you've started almost a dozen threads on this subject already.

I think it's time to make up your mind and just try one, it's a lot easier to learn what YOU like with the thing actually in our hands.

Both knives will keep there value and can be sold on relatively easy if it turns out to be not what you expected. Or just buy it somewhere where you can return/exchange it.

You're probably at the point where you need to travel a bit and feel each knife in hand. I'm personally not a fan of the Domino but love my 940/943's but you can feel otherwise and be perfectly legit. You won't know until you take both in hand and decide for yourself. Opinions here are worth exactly what you pay for them!

Go with the 940-2 if you want a flipper knife go with the ZT 0801TI skip the Domino I'm a Spyderco fan but the Domino blade is to wide and it just did work for my needs the flipping action is good but not ZT good .

Between those 2, the Domino. But, as palonej said, upgrade to the 940-1501, 940-1701, or 940-1 and the 940 becomes a serious contender.
It's a matter of personal preference at this point. Both are fine knives and can't really go wrong either way. Just pick which one calls to you more at this point. If you dont like it, sell it and buy the other.

Like I said in your other post, just get one of the 940s. Nearly everybody tries one sooner or later. You may not want another folder after trying the 940.:D

I understand it's a bitch when you can only choose one but like many.
