benchmade 940 blue handle ?

I saw a Benchmade model 940 w/ blue handles with number 1 of 1000.

Is this numbered where all 1000 are labeled "1 of 1000" instead of consevutive numbers ex 1 of 1000, 2 of 1000, 3 of 1000, etc.?

Any help with this would be appreciated.

The blue 940 is not numbered. The right side of the blade has "Oct. 2000" on it. Otherwise the blade is the same as the standard 940.
