Benchmade 940

I have a 2017 940 that has a single screw in the middle on top but my 2024 940-3 has 2 one on each side . When did Benchmade change this?

Pretty sure it's just the difference in the 940 having the two halves with the spacer and one screw goes through holding it all together and models with stand off posts using a screw on either side to hold everything together.
