Benchmade 943 questions???

Can anyone comment to the common production run of the Benchmade Osborne 943?

Were more made in S30v or 154cm?


I ordered a 154cm one from cabelas but mine is clearly stamped s30v. is this possibly mistamped? talk about funny.

I'd go with what it is stamped. I ordered a mini-grip about 6 months ago and the website said that it was 440C, but it was stamped 154CM.

I have two 943 knives. One (earlier) is PE and 154CM. Other (later) is SBK and S30V. Two BM common upgrades are: 440C=>154CM, 154CM=>S30V.

It's hard to tell the difference between 154CM and S30V, IMO. Both 943's came shaving sharp.
