Just bought this knife off of knife works! So pumped to get it! It will play a great role as my edc blade! Perfect length and looks really slim! I was wondering who has a 943 and who love it??? One question I had was if there was any blade play at all?

Congrats on the new knife, OP! I don't own a 943 but I do have a 940 that's a couple years old now and never had a problem. It's a nice knife and carries like a champ. You may have to tweak the pivot a bit just to tune the action to your preference and put a better edge on it. My 940 came with a terrible factory edge but it was nothing that some time on the stones couldn't fix. No biggie.

Awesome!!! I mean it is a benchmade so lock up should be great! My Mini Barrage, 950 Rift, and 300SN are all amazing with fit and finish and lock up. Thanks Timber can wait to add the 943 to my collection!

I've been thinking about getting a 943. (Green 940 is meh) Any feedback on your first impressions would be awesome!

The 943 is one of Benchmade's best knives. I've had mine for a few years and love it. I've been meaning to get a 940 for a while to try it out. I like how much blade length they pack in a relatively small package.

And so the 94x addiction begins

Great knife, great ergos, great for EDC - welcome ;)

I carried one exclusively for three years while in college. The 943 is very light, slim, easy to carry, and has enough blade length to deal with pretty much anything you might reasonably come across on a day to day basis. Mine has held up pretty well:
