can somebody please explain me the meaning of SBT
an older Benchmade knife.

the knife is an oldschool

BENCHMADE EMERSON 975 SBT

is that the titanium carbide blade edge ?

thanks for your help !

No, it's not titanium. The only BM with Ti blade was 970ST. SBT translates into: S - partially serrated, BT - BT2 coated. Still a very nice and rather rare knife you got there. Congrats!
