Does anyone know anyone who sells replacement scales for the Benchmade Adamas folder in stainless steel or titamium? Any reccomendations would really be appreciated. Thank you

I had an original adamas in d2 and sold it i think and then got the updated cruwear version which my son carried for awhile before switching it out for a cruwear micarta pm2. So now the adamas lives in a drawer but it's a solid knife.

Good luck on your search.

Applied Weapons Technologies makes aluminum scales for it. That actually may be perfect for this role as you could get the metal scales you're after, and they'd be super light compared to stainless or Ti. I personally love aluminum scales and think they're very underrated.

There are titanium replacement scales for the Mini Adamas, but not full size.

I think AWT only makes scales for the mini.

And when he’s not using the knife to cut with , he can always curl it to build up those biceps 😆 Just kidding. The Adamas is a good looking knife. Just be prepared for a weight increase on an already heavy folder. And post pics with the new scales.

Ohh, ok my bad. I'm looking at their site right now and they make some pretty cool scales. Shoot, I also just saw that they have "blem" scales for way cheaper. I might have to get me a set of those. I wonder what their blems look like.

Their blems are usually almost unnoticeable. A scuff here or there. If you’re gonna use it, it’s very much worth it to go with the blems from their “boneyard”.

Oh yea, that's what I like to hear. Man, I just got sent down another vortex of looking through all the different Bugout scales that are on the market. Same as last time I came to the conclusion that there's just too many good ones at decent prices, and I can't choose, so I just laid the decision down for another day. I swear I've been doing this for about a year now, every few months checkout what's on the market, and then after looking at everything just get overwhelmed and decide to wait. 😂 A truly first world problem that I'm blessed to get flustered by.

Probably won’t find anyone until someone decides it’s popular enough to invest in tooling in China… and even then probably wouldn’t be stainless. Maybe you could commission someone to make you a set of custom scales but at the amount it would cost you, you might faint.

I recommend AWT aluminum.

Not for nothing but I'd avoid metal scales simply due to heat if used in hot conditions like sitting in your car etc. at least if it's to be a user and not just a collector.

I adore the Adamas, but I wouldn't want to make it any heavier than it already is. I wish you luck though :)

The AWT archons are great on the Bugout. Can’t really go wrong with any of their products.

Adding metal scales might make it a bit more like the original Adamas this one was meant to be a bit slimmer and lighter it kind of defeats the purpose of this new one .

Yea those are in my top few choices of available Bugout scales for sure at this point. Yours look good! They kind of look like they'd make the handle feel just a tad bit longer, which I like.

They are a tooch longer and far more ergonomic IMO. No lanyard hole, but that was a positive for me in this case.

Son of a... You got me back lookin at them again man haha. Yeah I've always thought the Archon scale design looked like it'd feel better in the hand than the stock scales. Yeah, I'll probably have to end up getting me a set of those. It's too good of a deal to pass up really.
