I have the Adamas and noticed the blade profile looks similar to the lionsteel. Does anyone own both these knives? Which do you prefer and why?

Just saw this post as I was browsing through the threads I missed while away for the past 6 weeks. I have both of these knives and the only real similarities I see are that both are blade shaped and have a sharp edge!:D The Adamas is a tad thinner, .160" vs. .186". The blade on the Adamas is a spearpoint with a top swedge, and is shorter in HEIGHT than the SR-1, with a better defined point. It also has the groove cut into both sides of the blade, and the blade is a saber grind, with a V shaped edge

The LionSteel blade is thicker, as noted above, and is a drop point design. It has no swedge, though I would like to see one, and is taller in height with more belly to it. The SR-1 has a shorter blade at 3.6" vs. the Adamas at 3.9". The Sr-1 blade is a flat blade design with a convex grind on the edge.

Both of mine came razor sharp and cut paper and hair with equal ease.

Thank you for the info. It is always helpful when someone actually owns both. So, after owning both, which do you prefer? I love the Adamas but still feel like getting the SR1 or Lionspy.

After owning all 3 I think I like the Lionspy the best. The hole opening makes all the difference as my detent was very strong on the SR1. I would have liked to have been able to keep all 3 though as I did like them all. The SR1 looks classy while the Adamas looks like a beast ready for war.
