Checking through the usual websites, I found Benchmade's exclusive offering for today, a Bugout version that is legal to carry anywhere!

The blade is made with a unique material that allows it to pass even the restrictions of places like airports and courthouses.

If you're looking for a knife that's permitted in even the most non-permissive environments, you should give the Airout a look.

Oh, and Happy April 1st! 😜

Very funny! 🤗

"Nothing hurts quite as bad as seeing your beloved knife vanish into a cardboard box at the airport because you forget to add it to your checked luggage before going through security. But never fear— Benchmade has you covered with the brand-new AirOut! With a blade made of pure air, this knife can be carried onto airplanes, into courtrooms, and anywhere else with tight security. That air blade will retain its factory sharpness for as long as the knife remains in the atmosphere, and it will never break, no matter how hard you torque it. Best of all, the AirOut weighs about half as much as a Bugout!"

In my 15 months as tsa, I never seen a benchmade, lots of cheap throw aways, swiss army classics, one lionsteel. Rest else not worth mentioning, oh. Some people forgot to take their loaded clip out a few times, that's a 10k fine right there.

I have seen some of those "I bought x pounds of TSA confiscated knifes GIANT score" videos. And the title lies, the best i have seen in the video is a cheap kershaw. Think anyone who loves knifes know that not to bring their knife into a airport.

I've seen these reports, supposedly all confiscated items, irregardless of what they are, are taken to an enclosed chute in a small room loaded with cameras to be destroyed, I quickly learned better, tsa don't get to keep squat, airport police make off with most the priciest candy
