Benchmade Ambush question

I have the larger size Ambush. it has the rolling lock mechanism. it does not open or close very smoothly and i think it is because of the locking mechanism. Has anyone else encountered this problem and how can i fix it?

I have both the large and the mini. It's not the lock as such but the "indraft" (BM's term)mechanism which goes with it.

As far as I can tell it can not be disabled/removed but with some practice the Ambush can be flicked open.

I have the mini version and a slight flip with my thumb and pops open like an assited model

i have the min ambush, and that mechanism makes the blade open in two movements instead of one. this caused me thumb to slip and land right on the blade multiple times, my long fingernail saved my thumb from being sliced to the bone. i tested it a few times after it first happened, it kept happening. i tightening the screw on the knife enough to were the blade opens slower but in one motion, not two. this solved the problem for me. however, i was only lucky i had not cut my fingernails. because of this i dont really recommend this knife to anyone, and i dont really like to carry it much.
