Hi,

I am looking for opinions on what product would best suit my needs.

I like to clean and maintain my own knives.
I have been using acetone and a synthetic oil I use on my fishing reels called Liberty Oil (ebay)

While this works and keeps the knives smooth, I feel that it could be better and less messy.

I have

Spyderco Paramilitary 2
Benchmade Griptilian
Benchmade Mini-Griptilian

All of the knife tangs, PB bushings and liners have been mirror polished.

I have been thinking about

Blue lube
Tuf glide
CRK fluorinated grease

I have all of the knives you listed and I've used all of the products listed. The one I've stayed with is Blue Lube. I use CRK's lube on my Sebenzas because that's what they recommend, but Blue Lube on everything else that gets lubed. I only do my PB washer folders (and rarely, at that). The teflon/nylatron washer knives don't get lubed. I never warmed up to Tuf-Glide. It never felt like it was doing as good a job on my knives that actually needed and liked being lubed. Corrosion prevention was OK, but the Blue Lube just seemed to make a smoother knife to me.
